    I'm used to using castor oil, which is very thick and slightly colored. This one is quite fluid, transparent, deodorized, and scented. I'm going to test it, but I think it's been refined.

    I've only used it once so far, but I find the oil is much more liquid than the one I bought in the store, which is convenient because it comes with a dropper, making it easier to apply at the root. I'll have to see over time if it's effective.
